The Residences at Mandarin Oriental Honolulu is an upcoming ultra-luxury mixed-use residential complex, which will be located on the corner of Kapiolani Boulevard and Atkinson Drive (across from the Hawai'i Convention Center). This building will bring 99 ultra-luxury condominiums to the Midtown Ala Moana neighborhood, as well as 125 5-star guest suites/hotel rooms and over 20,000 square feet of commercial space for a planned spa, salon, and a collection of high-class restaurants.
The project is being developed by Salem Partners and designed by Dianna Wong, and it is expected to be completed in 2024.
The Neighborhood
The Residences at Mandarin Oriental Honolulu are set to be located in one of the best spots in the entire city, with direct access to the Ala Moana Center, surrounding stores and restaurants, Ala Moana Beach Park, Waikiki, and much more.
Sitting just a couple of blocks West of The Residences will be the famous Ala Moana Center, which is the largest open-air shopping center in the world. This immensely popular mall features hundreds of designer stores, fast-fashion stores, local shops, restaurants, and even year-round live performances. This center also features Foodland Farms and Target, which offers more nearby grocery and daily necessity options for residents of The Residences. A few blocks North of the Ala Moana Center is a large complex hosting a Walmart and Sam's Club, which provide even more options for residents. These stores are only a 4-minute drive away from The Residences' lot.
For those who enjoy spending time outdoors, Ala Moana Beach Park is just down Atkinson Drive from The Residences. By walking 6 minutes or driving just 3 minutes Southwest, residents are able to enjoy the full breadth of activities available in this large park, including utilizing the Ala Moana tennis and beach volleyball courts, the beach, Magic Island, and more. Not to mention, this is a popular spot for playing with pets, exercising outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying the Hawaiian sun.
